Leading is not easy...

As leaders we often expect those in our charge to be perfect...or at least as good as we are...but, we forget that we were not always who we are and we are not now who we will be.  Neither are they.  But as leaders it is our responsibility to cultivate the best in each person and to lead with integrity and honesty and to create an environment the encourages those who follow to do the same. 

Leadership is not just a work thing. We lead everyday whether it is our children, our co-workers, our neighbors our friends and even our parents look to us to lead at some point in their lives.  What Paul is saying in his letter to the Colossians speaks to leadership in all those rolls.  " And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." 

With that in mind...this site is dedicated to developing anyone who wants to lead with a Biblical bent in mind.  Your feedback is welcome, the thoughts will not be profound or Earth shattering but they will be from my heart, my experience and I hope they will give you some insight from the mistakes I've made and seen others make.  I hope it will be a blessing to you as readers.
